Zuora helped MINDBODY automate quote to cash process across platforms; transact in multiple currencies; increase audit controls; and enable proactive and timely customer care.

Started in 2001, by 2014 MINDBODY had grown into the leading provider of cloud-based business management software for the wellness services industry, a leading payments platform and the creator of a worldwide network of health and wellness practitioners. The company was experiencing phenomenal YoY top line revenue and subscriber growth but was limited in the ways it could effectively increase net revenue.

MINDBODY wanted to balance being a customer friendly vendor with the ability to capture subscription upsides. Their small billing staff was finding it very difficult to support the massive volume of a fast-growth company using spreadsheets and a homegrown subscription billing system. MINDBODY needed a SOX-compliant platform that would streamline billing processes and scale with the business.

Zuora worked with MINDBODY to support both its short and long term business objectives. We automated its quote to cash process across SalesForce, Billing and Netsuite; and our Z-Finance component helped them comply with SOX requirements.

Central processing enabled proactive and timely customer care. Zuora helped them gain more from their global operations by making it easier to bill in multiple currencies. The company also uses our Avalara integration to better manage their taxation and audits.

With Zuora’s help, MINDBODY continues to scale their business across mobile, enterprise and reseller models, growing their subscriber base by 27% to 45,000 business subscribers in 132 countries as of Q2 2015. In addition, MINDBODY saw 56% increase in subscription and services revenue YoY, 54% increase in recurring revenue YoY and a 23% increase in average monthly revenue per subscriber (ARPS) YoY.
