THE TEAM

The Product Management team at Zuora are in the frontlines, intimately working with Zuora customers and users to identify product opportunities, functional requirements and business processes. Product Managers translate this data into product strategy, roadmap and detailed requirements that are hyper focused on business impact and customer value. Product Managers evangelize with internal and external stakeholders for buy-in and partner with engineering to bring their product to life. Additionally, Product Managers will ensure success of their product by working with their Product Marketing counterparts to drive pricing strategy, product positioning, promotional planning, product launches and product adoption strategies.

 

YOUR MISSION: Develop product strategy and release features that increase the value of Zuora’s Cash Application capabilities

 

THE OPPORTUNITY (AKA: Why you want this role over any other out there) 

As we continue to expand our payment processing footprint, having a successful Cash Application framework is paramount to our continued success. We are looking for experienced product managers to help lead the development of a major feature from the ground up.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE

  • Deliver measurable Customer Value (Product) Roadmap that aligns to the overarching product strategy and drive release planning and delivery efforts. 
  • Effectively manage end-to-end feature delivery: direct user experience prototypes, author functional requirements and functional specifications, create and prioritize user stories, analyze user data to drive decisions, publish release information, drive customer adoption, and manage feature deprecation.
  • Increase product value and Scrum team productivity by establishing standards for measuring feature and development performance, and deliver measurable improvements to the product and Scrum team metrics, making the service and the people around you more effective and productive.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Domain experience in Cash Application including remittance processing, payment matching and cash reconciliation
  • Work hand in hand with the  Outbound Product Manager to fully understand the customer requirements as they relate to the overall product functionality and strategy
  • Deliver consistent execution: takes initiative and demonstrates dependability
  • Collaborates across functions: builds effective relationships across the organization.
  • Lead from within: openness to input, emotional control/composure.
  • Ability to analyze complex business data and document Customer use cases.
  • Proven track record of Product Delivery under an Agile development framework
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure information is not lost from outbound Product Managers and engineering teams
