The Team & Role
The HR Business Partner (ZSP) is a key member of the ZEO Success team and serves as a strategic consultant and trusted advisor to business leaders within assigned client groups. This role partners closely with leaders to align and implement people strategies that support business objectives, enable organizational effectiveness, and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture.
As an HRBP, you will work at the intersection of business strategy and people outcomes supporting leadership development, talent planning, organizational design, and change initiatives in a dynamic, fast-growing environment. You will collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and other regional teams to deliver scalable, consistent, and impactful HR programs across the employee lifecycle.
This is a hybrid position, so you’ll work both remotely and in the office. This role is based in Bangalore.
What you’ll do
- Develop and implement people and talent plans that support both immediate priorities and long-term business goals for assigned teams.
- Translate business priorities into actionable people initiatives.
- Demonstrate solid problem-solving skills by identifying practical solutions, driving them through execution, and ensuring they are followed through to completion.
- Partner with leaders to build strong, high-performing teams by providing guidance on performance management, leadership effectiveness, career development, and succession planning.
- Support business growth by helping leaders with team planning, role clarity, and effective people practice as the organization scales.
- Support the employee lifecycle, including handling employee relations matters and investigations with guidance, while ensuring alignment with ZEO Success Delivery practices and local compliance.
- Improve employee engagement and retention by analyzing insights from engagement surveys and other people data and working with leaders to create and execute action plans.
- Support talent and development initiatives by facilitating talent reviews, identifying learning needs, and enabling relevant learning and development programs.
- Reinforce Zuora’s culture by promoting core values and leadership behaviors and supporting leaders in building an inclusive and high-performance work environment.
- Work closely with HR COEs (Talent, Total Rewards) and regional HR partners to deliver a consistent and effective HR experience.
- Support key HR operations activities as part of the role, ensuring smooth and timely execution of employee lifecycle processes.
- Own and contribute to assigned HR projects and initiatives, working with stakeholders to support effective execution and continuous improvement.
Your experience
- 6-8 years of progressive HR experience, with exposure to HR Business Partnering or closely related roles.
- Experience supporting leaders and teams in a hi-tech or product-based organization.
- Demonstrated ability to advise and influence leaders across organizational levels.
- Strong data-driven mindset, with experience using people’s insights to diagnose issues and inform solutions.

- Comfort working with ambiguity and evolving business needs, with a solution-oriented and adaptable approach.
