Zuora Wins SIIA Software CODiE Award for Best Subscription Management Solution

Z-Business Earns Prestigious Industry Recognition

Foster City, CA – May 27, 2014

Zuora, the subscription billing, commerce and finance leader, today announced that Z-Business, Zuora’s flagship product, has won an SIIA CODiE Award for Best Subscription Management Solution.

The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries, announced Zuora’s win for the 2014 CODiE Award for Best Subscription Management Solution. An SIIA CODiE Award win is an especially prestigious honor as each award winner was reviewed by a field of industry experts, whose evaluations determined 125 finalists. SIIA members then reviewed the finalists and voted to select this year’s CODiE Awards winners.

Zuora was founded on the belief that companies across diverse industries are realizing that the future growth lies in recurring revenue business models anchored on long term customer relationships. But when these businesses decide to adopt these new business models, they often find that their core ERP systems were not designed to meet the demands of relationship-centric recurring revenue streams.

A new breed of solutions, called Relationship Business Management, are needed to augment ERP and remove road-blocks to business model innovation.

Z-Business is the world’s first Relationship Business Management Solution. It was designed to manage the business operations of relationship-centric subscription companies just as ERP has done for manufacturing companies.

Z-Business is built with the goal of addressing the unique challenges faced by enterprises embracing the Subscription Economy. It contains a broad set of capabilities that span:

Z-Business was designed to meet the quote-to-revenue demands of relationship-centric revenue streams; integrates seamlessly into existing CRM and ERP applications; and delivers the highest security, scalability, audit and compliance standards demanded by global enterprises.

“At Zuora, our team is committed to product excellence and we take pride in having developed a product that gives businesses – whether pre-IPO growth companies or the world’s largest enterprises – the tools they need to launch and scale any subscription service, quickly and affordably,” said Guillaume Vives, Sr. VP of Product Strategy and Product Management at Zuora. “We are honored to receive this prestigious industry recognition as a winner in the SIIA CODiE Award program.”

“SIIA’s 2014 Software CODiE Award winners’ have some of the most innovative, high-impact software products and services in the market,” said SIIA Vice President for the Software Division, Rhianna Collier. “We congratulate all of this year’s CODiE Award winners and thank them for the contributions they have made to the software and services industry.”

Z-Business was also named a finalist in two other SIIA CODiE Award categories in 2014: Best eCommerce and Billing Platform and Best Commerce Solution. Zuora’s Z-Billing application was named a finalist in the category of Best Software-as-a-Service in 2010. Zuora was the only billing and subscription commerce solution to receive the honor at the time.
