Leeyo Software Successfully Completes SOC 2 Type 2 Audit

Re-certification Assures Commitment to SaaS Security, Availability and Data Protection

Leeyo Software, the leading provider of revenue cycle automation software, today announced its  Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, RevPro On-Cloud, has successfully completed a Service Organization Control 2 Type 2 (SOC 2 Type 2) audit. This ongoing effort by Leeyo, four years in a row has resulted in this third certification, and underscores the company’s commitment to this critical endeavor to earn a place among the largest cloud firms across the globe.

“Leeyo is pleased to mark an important milestone by offering our customers a SOC 2 Type 2 report for the third year running,” said Michael Compton, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Leeyo. “The SOC 2 attestation provides independent assurance to our customers that Leeyo has developed, implemented, operates and maintains security controls our customers expect for data protection and regulatory compliance purposes. We deliver a trusted solution to some of the largest and most sophisticated enterprise companies in the world and this report plays a key role in enabling us to deliver transparency to our customers and the industry.”

Completion of this audit, once again conducted by the accounting, tax and consulting firm of Moss Adams LLP, indicates policies, communication, procedures and monitoring of controls have been implemented by Leeyo and tested for operating effectiveness. This latest report reaffirms the company’s commitment to operational excellence and data security. Leeyo has chosen to partner with Amazon Web Services, one of the largest cloud providers, as their sub-service company to further demonstrate the extent of their commitment in this arena.

The Accounting Standards Board (ASB) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) developed this international accounting standard (formerly referred to as SAS 70), which focuses on “Trust Service Principles” for establishing standards of control for service organizations . Service Organization Control (SOC) reports are internal control reports on the services provided by a service organization and are designed to provide valuable information to help users and customers define and interpret risks associated with outsourced financial and accounting services. The SOC 2 report is based on Trust Services Principles (TSP), designed to provide customers with full confidence that a service and/or SaaS provider’s technology, systems and controls provide security, availability, confidentiality, processing integrity and/or privacy in accordance with AICPA attestation standards.
