Zuora Named a 2018 “Best Place to Work in the Bay Area”

Zuora was recognized by San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal as a “2018 Best Place to Work.”

Meet the Bay Area’s Best Places to Work for 2018…and Zuora is one of them!!

The Best Place to Work Award

This annual ranking produced by the San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal shines the spotlight on 130 local companies—spanning across industries—whose employees rate them as exceptional. Combined, 49,000 Bay Area employees work for these 130 standout companies, broken down by size, from Largest (more than 1,000 Bay Area employees) to Smallest (25-49 Bay Area employees). See the full list here.

What makes the Best Places to Work award so distinguished is that the winners are determined exclusively by each company’s employees. Bay Area workers were asked to complete an assessment measuring their company on such values as trust in leadership, collaborative culture, personal engagement and satisfaction of individual needs through great benefits and perks.

ZEO Perks

Zuora employees are referred to as “ZEOs”—to emphasize the fact that everyone that works at Zuora is the CEO of their own career. The ZEO culture is defined by autonomy and professional challenge. It’s also defined by its great perks! One of the things that makes Zuora a great place to work is the wide variety of programs offered to ZEOs, programs that emphasize community-building, growth, leadership, and health. Perks such as Career Cash provide ZEOs with the opportunity to get reimbursed up to an annual maximum of $1,000 for any resource or activity that furthers their career and personal development. And health initiatives such as Z-Fitness challenge ZEOs to participate in group-oriented health activities from marathons to climbing to Krav Maga workshops.

We’re proud of the ZEO culture. We’re proud of the work we do. We’re proud of Zuora as a company. And we’re proud that San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal have publicly recognized what every ZEO already knows: that Zuora is a great place to work — in the Bay Area and across all of our other global locations, from California to Beijing, Chennai, New York, London, Tokyo, Sydney, and beyond!
