Jeff has served as senior vice president of sales at FireEye since March 2010. Williams joined FireEye as the first sales leader and took it from $0 to a Billion run rate and helped transform it into a market-leading enterprise security company leading to a successful IPO in September 2013.
Prior to joining FireEye, Jeff was vice president of sales at Cisco Systems, Inc. from April 2003 to January 2010. Prior to Cisco Systems, Jeff managed sales for IronPort Systems, Inc. prior to its acquisition by Cisco Systems for 1B in June 2007. Prior to IronPort, Jeff was vice president of sales at IntruVert Networks, Inc., which was successfully acquired by McAfee. Prior to IntruVert Networks, Jeff was vice president of sales at GlobalCenter Inc., from February 1990 to January 2001 which was acquired by Exodus Communications for 6.5B. Additionally, Jeff served on the board of directors of Meraki, Inc. from 2010 until its acquisition by Cisco Systems in 2012. Most recently Jeff served on the Board of Directors at Adallom which was acquired by Microsoft and OpenDNS which was acquired by Cisco Systems.
When he is not in the field he is on the field coaching Lacrosse at Stanford University.
He has over 25 years of experience as a Senior Operating Executive with extensive experience in building and scaling companies globally.
