During his tenure at Zuora he has been integral in its journey from VC funded through IPO and post IPO phases. Prior senior management roles at Oracle, EMC and OpenText both in Europe and US.

Gaurav Sonpar is a Subscription Strategist based in Zuora’s London Office. He advises clients on different monetization strategies, pricing and packaging and customer experience design. Gaurav has worked with leading organizations across multiple industry sectors to deliver high-impact strategies to launch new business models and accelerate business growth.
Gaurav is also a member of Zuora’s Subscribe Institute and collaborates with leading academic institutions and industry peers, to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research on business transformation and maturity in the Subscription Economy. Prior to Zuora, Gaurav spent 14 years as a Strategy and Transformation Consultant with a range of professional services companies specializing in IT Services and Consulting such as Accenture, Cognizant and Tata Consultancy Services. Ella is a senior product marketing manager focusing on delivering the ongoing value of GoCardless and advising customers on how to evolve their payments strategy. That means, developing a consistent narrative and a deep understanding of customer pains so that we can help people and businesses around the world develop and improve their processes.
Ella spends her time making sure we are not just solving basic payments functionality, but driving results in such a way that payments becomes an automated and seamless part of the customer journey, improving return on investment for businesses.
Before GoCardless Ella worked in the arts and charity sector for around a decade, she has a master’s degree in Cultural Studies, from Sorbonne in Paris and has always had a passion for understanding people across countries and cultures.

Michael has nearly a decade of experience in financial services and FinTechs, and he has a primary interest on the positive impact financial technology has on businesses and consumers.
Before his role at GoCardless, Michael was the first employee at Fundingxchange; rising to Head of Product for the SME lending marketplace and decision engine. He also has a Master’s Degree in Economic History from the University of Oxford.
