Flexible Commitments expands Zuora’s current commitment capability beyond the product-level minimum commitment and usage-based transactions. Commitments represent minimum spend obligations and can span products, subscriptions, accounts, and transaction types. Commitments can be prepaid with an installment schedule or postpaid with a true up at the end of a period.

This feature supports more flexible contracting, better revenue predictability, and a unified experience. Key industries include fintech, healthcare, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise applications, where threshold-driven billing is prevalent.
