Zuora Hires Iman Ghodosi of SAP to Lead its Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia Growth

Zuora, Inc., the leading SaaS provider of subscription order-to-cash solutions, today announced the appointment of Iman Ghodosi as Vice President and General Manager of Australia, New Zealand (ANZ) and South East Asia. Iman joins the global Zuora® team from SAP and will be focused on accelerating the company’s international expansion.

Iman brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the software industry, starting his career in ERP software development, followed by consulting and executive roles at Oracle and Netsuite. He was also a driving force behind Zuora’s launch into the ANZ market in 2012. After two and a half years as vice president and head of ANZ for SAP’s cloud procurement division, Iman is rejoining Zuora to fulfil its mission of empowering businesses in the region to modernise and transform their business models for the future.

“We welcome Iman back to the Zuora team to help new customers in ANZ and South East Asia capitalise on the tremendous Subscription Economy® opportunity,” said Marc Diouane, President of Zuora. “He brings with him a wealth of leadership experience and a proven success record that will play a critical role guiding Zuora’s team through its next stage of growth in the region.”

A recent report by Ovum found that Australia’s emerging Subscription Economy is set to gain huge momentum as more than 70 percent of one-time payment businesses plan to migrate customers to recurring subscription models in the next two-to-three years.

“Zuora is the pioneer of the Subscription Economy, enabling a new landscape in which traditional companies can transform with dynamic subscription-based business models. As consumers and businesses in Asia Pacific continue to prefer recurring commerce relationships, I am thrilled to rejoin the team, leading our growth as the subscription platform of choice for the region’s most innovative and disruptive businesses,” said Iman.

Iman holds an MBA from the University of Newcastle and a Masters in e-Business from the University of Southern Queensland.
