Subscription Billing Leader Zuora Named to the AlwaysOn Global 250 Private Companies List; Sweeps the Technology Award Season

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — July 16, 2009 — Zuora, Inc., the fastest-growing on-demand subscription billing and payments service, announced that it has been selected to the 2009 AlwaysOn Global 250 Top Private Companies List. The AlwaysOn Global 250 Award is given to the best private, emerging innovators in technology, successful in creating new business opportunities in high-growth markets.

Zuora adds the honor to an impressive list of recent industry accolades. At this year’s Under the Radar conference, Zuora was nominated “Best in Show” in addition to winning Judges’ Choice and Audience Choice awards for the web services track. Zuora was also a finalist in the American Business Awards and the TiECon50.

“In the past year, we have seen the subscription economy take off – companies ranging from traditional media outlets to Hallmark are offering subscription services online. Zuora is proud to be a pivotal player when it comes to making money in the cloud,” said Tien Tzuo, CEO, Zuora.

Zuora was selected by the AlwaysOn editorial team based on demonstration of growth, market opportunity, quality of innovation and customer traction. The AlwaysOn Global 250 winners were selected from among hundreds of other technology companies nominated by investors, bankers, journalists and industry insiders. The AlwaysOn editorial team conducted a rigorous three-month selection process to finalize the 2009 list.
