Tim Higgins is a reporter at The Wall Street Journal covering tech and autos. He focuses on Tesla and self-driving tech companies. Prior to joining the Journal, he covered Apple and spent almost a decade in Detroit reporting on the automotive industry. He wrote about the 2016 presidential campaign for Bloomberg Businessweek. Higgins has won several awards from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers and was a five-time finalist for the Livingston Awards, including for breaking the news that GM would name Mary Barra as the first female CEO of a global automaker.
