Stewart Whitman is Head of Product and Project Management of CLEAR.

Based in New York, he is responsible for the full lifecycle process and delivery mechanisms for all products. He leads project management and product delivery, driving the process of conceptualizing, implementing, delivering, all projects and products.

For the past decade before CLEAR, Stew worked at American Express driving innovation in a variety of strategy, technology and product delivery positions. With his most recent, prior role he provided AMEX's Technology organization with continuous improvement of enterprise-wide software delivery practices. He had global responsibility for the operating model for software delivery at American Express. In this role he helped technology delivery leaders across the company build high performing teams using Agile delivery.

Earlier in his career, Stew led the e-commerce design and build team at Lehman Brothers and began his career in his families' printing company, helping digitize the printing business in the earliest days of electronic publishing.

Stew holds an MBA in Operation Management and a BS in Communications from Cornell University. 

He resides with his wife and two children in Westchester County outside of New York City.
