Rick is Senior Director, Business Model Innovation, J&J Consumer Inc. Rick’s current responsibility is focused on integrating health tech with the power of J&J’s iconic Consumer brands to create differentiated value propositions in the shift from product to platform. Prior to joining J&J in April 2014, Rick spent 21+ years at Bayer HealthCare in Pharmaceuticals, In Vitro Diagnostics and Medical Device with roles in Sales, Training, Marketing, Strategy, IT, New Product Development and Commercial Leadership. Rick has worked for many years in Canada, the US and Japan.
Relevant highlights of Rick’s career include Senior Director, Engagement Solutions New Product Development responsible for the design and development of digital solutions for J&J Diabetes Care Companies portfolio; Global Head, Viterion TeleHealthcare under the Bayer Diabetes Care umbrella; Senior Program Director, accountable for ideation, development and global commercialization of Bayer’s Contour USB Blood Glucose Meter platform as well as the Glucofacts Deluxe companion software; Japan Country Division Head, leading commercial operations for Bayer’s Diabetes Care business.
