Jonathan is a Partner in Connor Group’s FinOps practice. He has significant experience helping companies (both large and small) navigate large scale finance transformation and business process improvement/optimization efforts, including training finance teams to operate at a public company standard. Jonathan is an expert at working with high-growth companies to critically assess their people, process, and systems while providing practical and actionable recommendations, and helping companies execute against those recommendations.  

Jonathan is one of our leading experts on improving the financial statement close process, including automation. He also has extensive experience assisting companies to establish efficient and well controlled processes, including compliance with Sarbanes Oxley. Jonathan is also focused on helping companies improve their procure to pay and order to cash processes, including revenue automation and compliance with the ASC 606 standards.  

Before joining Connor Group, Jonathan was a Manager at KPMG in its advisory practice. During his career, Jonathan has gained strong project management experience leading global teams and has lived and worked in leading technology centers around the world, including Silicon Valley, London, and New York. He has a very diverse finance background including Finance/Management Consulting, Internal Audit and Tax. During his career Jonathan has advised clients such as Google, Polycom, Hewlett Packard (HP), Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Arista Networks, and Blue Apron, in addition to a large array of private companies in the technology and biotech space.

Jonathan is a Certified Public Accountant (California) and graduated with his Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University.
