John Kinzer joined HubSpot as Chief Financial Officer in November 2013. He brings 24 years of financial and management experience in technology to the company.   Before HubSpot, John served as CFO for Blackboard, Inc., the leading SaaS education company. At Blackboard, he played a key role in taking Blackboard public in 2004 and later, in reaching over $500M in revenue prior to being acquired by Providence Equity Partners for $1.8 billion. Kinzer also held significant roles at MCI and Arthur Andersen, LLP.

John graduated from Virginia Tech University.  He has obtained the titles of CPA, CMA and CFM and has been twice nominated for the Northern Virginia Technology Council CFO of the Year award.
