The Strategy & Operations organization plays an integral role in driving Zuora’s long term, strategic growth. We partner with functional leaders, translate strategy into action and drive operational excellence and efficiency throughout our business. The execution of our corporate strategy requires each function to be strategically aligned, know how to advance our strategy, and to implement with confidence. This is an exciting phase in Zuora’s company growth, and an opportunity to join the Strategy and Operations who runs the cadence of the company that ensures:

  • Company is in touch with the marketplace and has a clear strategy for creating consistent long term shareholder return 
  • Strategy is translated into execution plans for teams across the company
  • We have the systems and tools that allow every team and every ZEO to be successful 


Lead the Digital Workplace at Zuora, ensuring employees are connected, engaged, and informed with access to what they need to deliver faster and more valuable outcomes. The Digital Workplace will be pivotal in supporting a team-based, collaborative, high performance culture. 


  • Define and lead the strategy, processes and solutions that lay the foundation for an intuitive digital work environment where employees can thrive; enabling productive, creative, and engaging connections.
  • Create the engagement model for a unified collection of solutions that supports the scale and agile nature of Zuora’s business in parallel with developing a digital-first workplace experience.
  • Empower employees at Zuora to:
    • Share their expertise with, and learn from others by, building a community ecosystem; a place to capture, store and share meaningful information, knowledge, and experiences.
    • Easily create, publish & consume content.
    • Collaborate and communicate with ease irrespective of location, language, learning style.
    • Connect and engage with other ZEOs- removing silos and fostering relationships, access and visibility across teams, locations and culture.
    • Feel a part of the broader Zuora community. 
  • Manage the cultural, behavioral and organizational change required to build, scale and sustain a successful Digital Workplace.
  • Build a high-performing, fully aligned team that is inspired by the Digital Workplace strategy and vision while representing the business requirements of their respective functions throughout all phases of technology deployment and digital maturity. 
  • Motivate, train and empower a cross-functional network of champions to extend their influence and support Digital Workplace operations, ongoing engagement and virtual best practices amongst their teams and co-workers.


  • 8+ years experience in Organizational Enablement and Effectiveness and/or Change Leadership and Management, ideally within a SaaS or High Tech environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Organization Development, Behavior Engineering or related field, Master’s degree preferred. Advanced certification(s) in Learning & Development, Design Thinking and/or Organizational Change Management a plus.
  • 5+ years experience executing on enterprise wide programs in partnership with IT and other business units; defining and driving outcomes, managing diverse stakeholders, staying within budget and delivering data driven recommendations. 
  • Deep knowledge of Technology Enabled Development with heavy focus on end-user experience, challenging status quo, and proactively leveraging the latest technology trends and industry best practices.
  • Ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts to audiences of varying technical expertise (sales team, customer success team, and channel partners).
  • Strong understanding of regional and global communications strategies, creating compelling messaging that translate organizational objectives and program priorities.
  • Relentless focus, independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations.
  • Top-notch communication and presentation skills, including experience communicating insights through data with senior-level executives and rallying cross functional teams through inspiration and vision.
  • Strong leadership of cross-functional teams with the ability to inspire team members, drive alignment and obtain buy-in from diverse stakeholders. Experience managing people and teams is a plus.
