The opportunity ahead of us is to lead the best companies, industry by industry, through their journeys, guiding their transformation and ultimately creating a multi-billion dollar revenue opportunity. Like technology, where we’ve become the standard for SaaS companies looking to IPO. Or manufacturing, where we count 8 of the top 10 auto manufacturers as customers, along with industrial manufacturers like CAT, JCI, and Honeywell. Or media, where we service 20 of the largest newspaper publishers as well as large OTT streaming services around the globe. 

Because what we do is rooted in business model transformation – the way we must align our go-to-market is by industry. Doing so will require a greater depth of understanding, stronger messaging, more tailored product and partner strategies, and an expert field organization, with confidence and credibility, that can add significant value to the CEO-level conversations we’re having across industries.

We’re looking for a leader to help drive and accelerate Zuora’s High-Technology go-to-market strategy. Someone with a deep understanding and a strong instinct for the mechanics of an industry and how to uncover and create value. Someone who understands the industry landscape, the changes on the horizon, and who can offer unique guidance and value to executives trying to navigate this change. Someone who can help Zuora, as an enterprise software company, uncover new ways to define and deliver solutions for these companies with our technology, people, and partners. And someone who is a change-agent who can push Zuora to evolve in our approach and thinking – ultimately helping us fulfill our promise as a company.


Create the World Subscribed by dominating one market vertical at a time, with an organization aligned around a repeatable formula.

  1. VERTICAL GTM BUSINESS PLANS & OPERATING CADENCE: We have a GTM roadmap and an organization armed to unlock 50% bookings growth through the right targeting, partnerships, and solution design.
  2. THOUGHT LEADERSHIP: Zuora is widely recognized as the thought leader on business model transformation in our target verticals.
  3. ECOSYSTEM VALIDATION: The ecosystem of leaders and strategic partners in our target verticals endorse Zuora as the company to work with.
  4. WIN MARKET SHARE: We have a field organization, with the swagger and skills, to win and expand our footprint in target accounts.


  • Experience creating written messaging, thought leadership and B2B collateral as well as presenting concepts and ideas to colleagues, internal and external clients, prospects and partners
  • Ability to synthesize information to create powerful, succinct materials; familiarity with integrating various technologies and tools to support marketing efforts
  • Strong negotiation, project management and problem-solving skills; flexibility and adaptability
  • Demonstrable organization skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and keep time sensitive, highly visible projects running smoothly
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in your Industry of focus
  • Excellent internal/external verbal and written communications skills at the executive level is a must. Must be comfortable presenting to groups of all sizes.
  • The ability to analyze Salesforce reports and dashboards including location, industry and sales stage, to help synthesize a strategic Industry plan that aligns with sales' objectives
  • Ability to measure the impact and effectiveness of initiatives and campaigns and recommend changes that result in higher executive engagement and alignment



  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field
  • 15+ years of prior relevant experience in technology or strategic consulting company
  • Experience in creating executive level content and leading sales enablement to educate and execute on Industry priorities
  • Strong performance in developing, managing and executing strategy planning and solutions (both Zuora’s first party and sourced from a parter eco-system) to drive Industry scale globally
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Specifically – MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint


  • Advanced degree a plus
  • Experience in managing and developing strategy, marketing or sales teams
  • Experience working with a team in a virtual mode with remote resources
