THE OPPORTUNITY / YOUR MISSION

As a Software Engineer on our payment orchestration team, you'll be responsible for full system development including design, coding, and deployment of our payment orchestration components and services. You'll take on challenges like developing various payment gateway integrations including payment processing, gateway reconciliation and so on.  You also take the responsibility to build the common payment orchestration framework to accelerate new gateway integration and new payment method type support, and support popular payment ewallet. You will also work as devops to develop and operate the payment relevant components and service and provide high quality SaaS service to external customers

WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE

• Design and develop highly flexible payment orchestration components and services that quick expand Zuora payment gateway integration coverage
• Interact with software architects and senior developers to design application modules using object-oriented design methods
• Design and construct payment related integrations
• Design and build payment orchestration telemetry monitor system to monitor the healthy of payment components
• Work closely with QA/QE engineers to design, implement and build and test automations using JUnit, Apex Test Methods, and Selenium

WHAT WE THINK YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• BA/BS in Computer Science or similar technical degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing B2B and B2C applications using Java (JVM) based technologies
• Working knowledge of modern web technologies including cloud-based APIs and protocols (REST, JSON)
• Understanding of microservices frameworks (Spring Boot or Dropwizard)
• Experience developing apps on a PaaS with database and object modeling skills
• Passion for exploring and experimenting with the latest application development technologies
• Disciplined self-starter, able to be highly productive both working alone and in close collaboration within an agile development team
• Tons of great ideas, the ability to bring them to life (or sometimes fail but learn a lot in the process) and a love for solving hard problems
• Payment domain knowledge is preferable
