Zuora Senior Sales Operations Analyst

The Sales Operations Analyst is a high-impact role at Zuora who:

  • Serves as a lead in the Subscription Economy by driving and enabling operational excellence in our Sales organization
  • Innovates constantly our analyses, processes and systems so we can always be one step ahead of our fast-paced Sales teams needs
  • Uncovers data-driven insights that have immediate impact in our Field execution and sustain our top-line growth
  • Works cross-functionally with a “one-team” mind-set with our Marketing, Sales Development, and IT groups

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain and improve the Sales Quota Model
  • Partner with Finance and HR on Sales Planning/Budgeting
  • Participate in sales compensation design and modelling
  • Partner with Finance/HR to document processes and maintain data for various sales compensation programs (spiffs, accelerators, draws)
  • Evaluate, implement and maintain related Sales Quota/Planning tools
  • Develop and maintain formal reporting packages for Management and Board use
  • Work with the Field Execution team to uncover areas of revenue opportunity in our customer and prospect base
  • Know the forecasting process and work to make our forecasting more accurate
  • Optimize the sales rep and manager experience in Salesforce and other relevant systems
  • Responsible for ensuring sales processes & policies are implemented effectively within the team
  • Document processes and methodologies
  • Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making

Required Skills /Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field 
  • 3+ years’ operating in high growth environments, particularly in the technology industry, management consulting and/or investment banking. Experience in SaaS is a plus. 
  • Experience with complex financial modelling
  • Fluent Salesforce user (admin certification a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional quantitative and MS Excel skills (sumifs, index/match and vlookup, pivots)
  • Deep understanding of how sales models & sales processes work
  • Able to run numerous activities & projects simultaneously
  • Salesforce mastery: complex dashboards & reports, custom report types, calculated fields, workflows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
