Our growth story is only just beginning, and we’re looking for a VP of Global Field Talent Acquisition to build, scale and lead a world-class, global field recruitment function focused on driving growth for our business. 

 

In this highly visible and strategic role, you’ll partner with our functional leaders and recruiting team in and outside the US, to develop and execute on initiatives that drive successful recruiting outcomes including: optimizing recruiting strategy, scaling programs and processes, expanding the use of data/analytics and developing effective strategies for expanding into new talent markets. You’ll report into the VP, Global Talent Acquisition, and will be part of the TA Leadership team where you’ll have the support of functional recruiting leads and our Recruiting Operations Manager. You’ll also partner closely with our Recruitment Marketing expert to design and implement unique programs that set Zuora apart, showcase our unique ZEO culture and strengthen our employer brand. 

 

Make no mistake, this will be a challenging (and rewarding) role as you work to transform and cultivate a recruiting mindset across our organization and inspire our business and recruiting teams to reliably deliver results at scale. You’ll grow the capabilities and effectiveness of the talent acquisition team and lean into this player-coach role to provide strategic direction, mentorship, tactical guidance and hands-on coaching. And of course, you’ll keep diversity top of mind and champion strategies to engage with talent from underrepresented backgrounds.

What you’ll do & achieve:

  • Drive both short-term and long-term talent resource planning including recruiting capacity planning to balance our internal hiring resources to ensure the right resource allocation to support the business
  • Lead, coach and direct an experienced, resourceful, proactive and solution-oriented recruiting department; providing guidance and training to the team to execute against objectives and adjust to shifting organizational priorities
  • Optimize recruitment processes and systems from intake to interview; developing structure and best practices to create efficient, effective and thoughtful recruitment strategies 
  • Determine recruiting targets and KPIs; analyzing recruiting activity and metrics to track progress against recruitment goals and objectives
  • Partner and collaborate with business leaders and their direct reports to determine and execute recruiting strategies; making sure hiring priorities are understood, progress is tracked and our mutual goals are achieved
  • Drive the development of creative recruiting programs that support the long-term goals and vision of the company, including: interview guides, interviewer training, candidate assessment, referrals, internships and outreach recruiting, etc.
  • Support the development of our employer brand and evolution of our recruitment marketing footprint; ensuring our channels are optimized to drive qualified candidate leads
  • Partner with Total Rewards to create compelling, competitive offers to secure the best talent

 

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with hands on full-cycle recruiting experience and 5+ years in recruiting management or leadership roles
  • A mix of startup and established company experience with demonstrated success scaling recruiting strategies/operations through periods of fast growth 
  • Experience leading a high performing team, with a proven track record for delivering on recruiting goals quarter over quarter
  • Experience running the operational components of a sub-function, including developing strategic direction, budget & resource allocation, data analytics, and championing new initiatives with senior leaders
  • Dedication to process improvement and increasing recruiting effectiveness with experience diagnosing process inefficiencies (both within recruiting & cross-functional) and partnering to build solutions 
  • Strong program management skills with a breadth of experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing tools and programs with successful adoption
  • Deep knowledge and experience recruiting in EMEA and APAC markets, with a solid understanding of their nuances
  • Appreciation for, and a thirst for the trials and tribulations of attracting and securing great talent
  • Data and metrics driven with exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Collaborative team player passionate about winning and building a great company
