The Product team defines and implements the product vision, strategy and roadmap across Zuora’s Billing, Revenue and Platform suite. The team is made up of Product Managers, Product Designers, Product Researchers, Product Operations and Functional Architects to drive the product direction, customer experience, pricing and packaging. The team works closely with other parts of the organization, from Marketing to Global Services, to provide competitive analysis, enable partner integrations, and drive customer value.


The Product Operations Director will play a key role in empowering the Product team to efficiently and effectively deliver high-impact work that helps our customers win in the Subscription Economy and accelerates revenue growth for Zuora.


  • Partner with the VP of Strategy & Operations to establish a clear and consistent planning processes that align product investments with customer and business needs 
  • Define structure, content and cadence required for product reviews and standardize our data-driven product prioritization framework and process
  • Maintain high-impact communication system that ensures key stakeholders have the right information at the right time to do their jobs, including: creating awareness of new capabilities and ensuring effective deployment to the field
  • Drive program to maintain updated product roadmap and certify PMs, PMMs, SEs, CSMs to deliver product roadmap pitch
  • Develop a clear and consistent system to understand the impact of our product efforts including: defining product performance metrics, a system for reporting on them and gathering customer feedback
  • Create consistent and efficient organizational processes to deliver high-quality product outcomes faster and with less risk 
  • Orchestrate efficient interlocks between Product and Engineering around the product discover, design and execution processes


  • 8+ years of experience within two or more functional areas (e.g., product management, sales operations, product marketing, program management, business consulting)
  • Exceptional data analysis with the ability to find the trends and implications within data to inform sound business decisions
  • An understanding how to organize a complex program and attack it, define outcomes, scope the effort, document milestones and deliver in a team-of-teams environment
  • True leadership with ability to display integrity and inspiration as well as obtain buy-in from others through logic and reasoning
  • Relentless execution, independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations (aka you get things done!)
  • Initiative, fast moving with proven track record of finding ways through obstacles
  • Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans
  • Top-notch communication and presentation skills, including experience communicating insights through data with senior-level executives and rallying cross functional teams through inspiration and vision
