Associate Product Manager, Zuora Revenue

We’re looking for a highly collaborative Associate Product Manager who can help deliver mission critical solutions all the while thinking about scale, performance, compatibility and extensive downstream impacts.

As an Associate Product Manager, you’ll work cross-functionally with our field organization and customers to understand their needs and help define our product strategy and roadmap. You’ll help drive product design, from both an API and UI perspective; working with our engineering teams to bring the product to life. You’ll have the satisfaction of seeing solutions through delivery and customer adoption – obsessing about the user experience every step of the way. But, perhaps best of all is the opportunity to solve challenges in an entirely new space and truly learn how to become an effective Product Manager. 


What you’ll do & achieve:

  • Become an expert in Zuora’s strategic and competitive positioning and develop a thorough understanding of our products from ideation through development, launch, growth and success
  • Uncover customer and prospects’ needs, define and prioritize requirements by preparing and conducting customer interviews, contextual inquiries, focus groups and design workshops
  • Align diverse teams (engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, partners and operations) towards a shared vision
  • Create maximum impact for deliverables based on data analysis, market research and usability studies
  • Apply creative solutions, lead the work and help write the blueprint in an ever-evolving environment
  • Assist in building Revenue BI capabilities, increase customer value delivery by integrating state of the art platform solutions and shorten financial close for our customers by optimizing workflow and user experience.
  • Help oversee your team’s roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • A deep love and understanding of technology and the ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly
  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships, be persuasive and influential within and across diverse groups such as customers, developers, consultants and sales personnel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills including task prioritization and effective time management
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrating good judgment and problem-solving ability
  • Passion for Zuora’s vision of the The World Subscribed and our mission to enable all companies to be successful in the Subscription Economy
  • Open to students who have graduated from a BS/MS/PhD program in Spring/Summer 2020 and industry candidates with up to 3 years of experience.
