The Zuora.org Pledge to #StopTheSpread

The Zuora.org Pledge to #StopTheSpread

As our global situation changes daily we’re extremely committed to making sure our customers are supported and our ZEOs are safe and healthy.

But with the COVID-19 crisis affecting so many, this isn’t enough. It’s imperative that we do our part to support our communities; specifically vulnerable individuals, healthcare workers and small local businesses.

Zuora is proud to join the COVID19 Tech Collaborative, a collaborative of 25 Bay Area based companies, to immediately disperse an initial $22M in collective funding for organizations on the front lines of this crisis. We’re also taking the #StopTheSpread pledge and rethinking the ways that Zuora can provide support to our local communities.

Through the Zuora Impact Fund, previously liquidated stock that we’ve set aside to fuel our philanthropic work, we will initially give $200,000. This aid will support local, regional and global response efforts through several beneficiaries (see below). For now, we’ll focus this capital in regions where the largest concentration of our ZEOs live and work.

We also realize that local non-profits have been hit extremely hard by this crisis. Some struggle to find funding to serve the growing needs of their constituents, and others are quickly trying to adapt their business and models of service. We want to do our part to help these organizations; coming in April we’ll launch our Community Impact Grants program. This public grant cycle is aimed at directly dispersing capital to organizations that need it the most. More to come on how organizations can apply.

Do you want your company to join in this effort? There are many ways you can give back, but  #StopTheSpread is a wonderful resource and a great place to get started. Zuora has taken the pledge, and we encourage you to join us.

As our collective situation continues to shift and evolve we’ll evaluate how we can support those most affected by this crisis. If your company is interested in partnering or learning more about Zuora’s philanthropic efforts, contact ZuoraForGood@zuora.com.
