Zuora Founder and CEO, Tien Tzuo named 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year by EY

Tien Tzuo was named 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year in the Financial Services category by Ernst & Young. The award recognizes the endeavors of exceptional entrepreneurs demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Tzuo joins a small but elite group of past winners including Marc Benioff (Salesforce), Sergey Brin, Larry Page (Google), Vinod Khosla (Khosla Ventures), Reid Hoffman, Jeff Weiner (LinkedIn), Aneel Bhusri and Dave Duffield (Workday) among others. “I’m honored by this recognition from EY. I share it with all Zuora employees – this is the team that built our company and is really the secret to our success,” he said.

EY receives hundreds of nominations from the Northern California region competition alone as Silicon Valley is arguably one of the world’s epicenters for innovation and entrepreneurship.
