Shauna Watson, Global Managing Director of Finance & Accounting for RGP, returns to speak with Matt and Jim about some of the “Common Challenges” that companies, regardless of industry or revenue stream, are experiencing with the new guidance.

“Everyone is being asked to do more with less these days,” she said. “Everyone wants to know how (the new revenue recognition guidance) is going to affect them. Companies are very surprised at the amount of work finding out that answer.”

We asked Shauna for some tips on the best way a company can determine the extent of their impact. She also shared some scenarios in which certain types of companies – or companies with certain types of revenue streams – might miss revenue altogether, and how their method of adoption could play a part.
