Customer-Centric Dashboards Available to All Customers

Our customers want to measure and view the health of their business quickly and easily. What's easier and quicker than getting that information immediately upon logging on to Zuora? With Zuora's Key Metrics snapshot, you instantly have access to the data that matters most to the success of your business. And with this month's realease, this feature is available to all our customers.

Ability to Sync Custom Fields Between Salesforce & Zuora

This feature has been near the top of our customer feature request list, and in this release we delivered! Today customers can create custom fields in Zuora that sync to Salesforce and vice versa. For instance, businesses that sell to individuals at a company may use the Account Name as the customer's name, Jim Jeffers. By creating a custom field in Zuora, let's say Company Name, you can now see the company this customer is using your product at within Salesforce. This is yet another feature that gives our customers the ability to customize their view based on the metrics and data their company runs their business on.

View Discount Charge Model Items & Overage Pricing in Salesforce

So many of our customers live in Salesforce. At any chance we get, we enhance our product so that more and more of the data you see in Zuora is also available in Salesforce. In this month's release, our product team spent a lot of their time and resources making enhancements to our Z-Quotes product. As a result, our customers now have the ability to add Discount Charge Model items to Quotes in Salesforce. This allows sales people to take advantage of the complex discount functionality Zuora offers from inside Salesforce! Additionally, Overage Pricing items now allow you to enter Included Units right in Salesforce! No more appending notes to the Quote so that the subscription can be changes manually in Zuora, sales people can now see the default included units for a product and update them directly in Salesforce when creating a new Quote.

Enhancements to Quote Templates

Another popular request that has been added in this month's release is the ability to upload multiple Quote Templates in Salesforce and select from the available templates each time you print a Quote. Additionally, support for exporting Quotes as Word documents has been added to the Z-Force workflow.

Global Methods & Components for Force.com.

This allows Force.com developers to use all the elements of the Z-Quotes business logic and UI components to build APEX code that calls Zuora APIs. This allows you to develop your own web pages with all of the functionality, but none of the complexity, of the Z-Quotes Managed Package, all without custom code. This means you can upgrade to later versions of Z-Quotes without worrying about breaking your customizations.
