Specific Responsibilities:
The Manager, Demand Generation, reporting to the Director of Global Demand Generation is responsible for deployment and management of marketing campaigns to meet corporate business objectives. The primary responsibility is to work with the team to design global demand generation programs, selecting targets and reach methods, designing offers and calls to action, setting individual program goals and measurement criteria. This individual will work in partnership with product marketing, sales development and the sales organization to create and implement lead generation programs to drive revenue for Company solutions, products and services and managing external agencies and internal resources and is passionate about metrics.
This position is responsible for planning, managing and executing a variety of Demand Generation activities to produce qualified sales leads for our sales organization. Creativity, enthusiasm and energy combined with an attention to detail are necessary for success.
- Develop and execute measurable demand and lead generation programs that drive revenue generation through direct and indirect sales teams, activities and events.
- Implement testing and experimental methodologies to enhance the lead generation process and effectiveness, including response and conversion rates and multivariate testing.
- Program elements must include defined end to end lead management process from the initial prospect capture through to nurturing and hand-off to sales.
- Forecast, measure and analyze and report on impact of programs on sales cycles
- Produce lead reports and monthly dashboards to demonstrate campaign progress and ROI, cost per lead, etc.
- Design programs to build brand and drive awareness.
- Measure and monitor sales funnel activity for predictable pipeline building
- Work with internal/external resources to create content and assets necessary to drive interest
- Design, test and optimize campaign activities
- Support sales organization with appropriate programs to support each geography
- Leverage Marketo, Salesforce.com, and other tools to track the success of each program
Position Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and demand generation, or relevant experience
- Track record of successfully creating demand generation programs on a worldwide basis
- Metrics-driven, and the ability to showcase examples of demand generation campaigns
- Previous experience in disruptive technologies, and Software-as-a-Service a plus
- High standards of communication both oral and written
- Strong knowledge and experience using Salesforce.com and Marketo
- Ability to collaborate and develop positive business relationships with all cross-functional areas within Zuora and with peers
- Experience working with sales development and sales to deliver results
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a related field preferred.
